Black And White Sweety

I wrote this Tutorial on July 24th, 2009.
Any other Tutorial online is purely coincidence.
You will need any version of Paint Shop Pro. a good knowledge of
Working with masks.
My Black And White PTU scrap kit.
Here

Tube of choice, Font of choice. Wsl_Mask143.

I used the Fantastic artwork of Ismal Rac.
You may find his tubes at Artistic Minds Inc. Please Do Not
Use the same tube as me without the proper license to do so.

Let's Stsrt

Open a new 600x600 blank canvas and floodfill with white.
Copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit.
Open your mask, go to layers, new mask from image, source luminance
Checked. invert mask unchecked. apply mask. Duplicate the mask layer.
On the original mask layer, go to adjust, blur, gaussian blur of 20%. click ok.
Hide your white background and merge the 2 mask layers visible.
Add a slight drop shadow (optional).

Open one of the round frames of choice from the kit.
Copy and paste onto your canvas, with magic wand, click inside the frame.
Selections modify, expand by 6, copy and paste a paper of choice.
Selections invert, hit delete, select none. move this layer below the frame.
Back on the frame layer, magic wand, expand by 6, add your tube.
Selections invert, hit delete. add a drop shadow to the tube.
Make sure the tube is on top of the paper layer.

Add any embellishments you want from the kit and position where you want.
Or use my tag as a reference. add drop shadows to the embellishments.
Add your name in font of choice, add a drop shadow.
Add your tube again on top of all layers, add a drop shadow and move
Her to the left side. add a drop shadow to the tube.

Add artist copyright info and your watermark.
Save as .png file.
