Happy ST. Patrick's Day Tutorial

I wrote this Tutorial on Feb. 17th, 2009. Any other tutorial online is purely coincidental.
I used the artwork of Tom Hoover. You can find his tubes

Please do not use the same tube without the proper license.
My Happy ST. Patrick's Day Scrap Kit which you will find on my blog.

You will also need a mask of choice, font of choice.

"Ok, Let's Begin"

Open a new 600x600 blank canvas. Floodfill with white.
Open a paper of choice from the scrap kit. Add a new raster layer,
Select all, paste paper into selection, select none.
Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate the mask layer, on the
Original mask layer, adjust, gaussian blur of 20, click ok.
Hide the white background, merge the two mask layers together.
Unhide your white background.

Open the shamrock circle frame. copy and paste onto your canvas,
Making sure its in the center. with your magic wand, click inside the frame,
Selections modify, expand by 10. Open Paper of choice, copy and paste onto canvas.
Selections invert, hit delete, selections none. move paper down under the frame.
I erased the shamrock tails so they would'nt show on my tube.

Back on your circle frame layer, with magic wand, click inside the frame,
Selections, modify, expand by 10. copy and paste your tube, position,
Selections invert, hit delete. select none. move your tube above the paper layer.
Drop shadow the tube.

Apply your tube again on top of all layers, image mirror, position her to the left side,
And drag down a bit. add a drop shadow to the tube.

Add embellishments of choice, or you can use my tag as reference.
The choice is yours. add drop shadows to the embellishments.
And sharpen if needed.

Add your name in font of choice, drop shadow. I added some noise to my name.
But again the choice is yours.

Add your watermark, and artist copyright info.
Merge all layers visible. save as a .png file.
